The Place

Hintlesham is a popular Suffolk village sitting approximately halfway between Ipswich and Hadleigh.

Ipswich, the county town of Suffolk is just over 5 miles to the east and Hadleigh, a thriving market town with a wide range of amenities is around 5 miles to the west.

The village is notable for Hintlesham Hall, a 16th-century Grade I listed country house, now operated as a hotel.

The A12 is less than 5 miles away and provides a direct route to Colchester, Chelmsford and London.  In the other direction, the A12 takes you towards the beautiful coastal towns of Aldeburgh and Southwold, eventually leading to Lowestoft.
